However, recent reviews highlight significant concerns regarding inconsistent staff service, particularly with rudeness and a lack of responsiveness, alongside complaints about cleanliness and breakfast quality.

Great affordable place to stay. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities of the more expensive places. Nice continental breakfast. Perfectly located.

I visited Bozeman in December for a family emergency. First day was fine.. second day was a nightmare. Only book here if you would like to be abused by a member of the front desk staff. I accidentally locked my self out of my room. When I went to tell the lady at the front who was tall with gray hair in a braid. She was the rudest, most abrasive, abusive person I have come across in any hotel. She shamed me for locking myself out and treated me as though I was beneath her and unintelligent. She thought so little of me she refused eye contact and was so mean with her words that she brought me to tears. I was in an adjoining room and went to exit through the other room and the door locked behind me. That is how I locked myself out. I told her I felt terrible for the inconvenience and how sorry I was. She scoffed and rolled her eyes at me. She was extremely demeaning. I told her I had my main door locked for good reason because I didn’t feel safe due to personal reasons. She scoffed and rolled her eyes again. I thought it was her job to assist guests when they have problems. Not shame them. She didn’t have a key to unlock the adjoining door and acted as though that was my fault. She barked that she will need to call the general manager to come fix the problem. When she was walking away I asked her why she was treating me and my mom like this and she laughed and rolled her eyes once again. The general manager was very nice. He went to go get tools and my mom managed to open the door with a credit card. We walked to the front to tell her we fixed it ourselves and no longer needed her. She continued to be rude and hoped that her coworkers would laugh along, they did not. It was obvious that the other women were not surprised at her behavior and they seemed to not approve of it either. I told her she had brought me to tears and she replied in a very disrespectful snarky tone that I had made myself cry.. followed by another eye roll. I was already on an emergency trip and not in Bozeman for vacation. She was packed up to leave for the day and when my mom told her she should be expecting a review about her treatment and our experience she responded by yelling “YOU GO GIRLY!” In her disrespectful tone. We decided to check out early and go across the street because of how uncomfortable we felt. We received no refund and lost hundreds of dollars. When checking out the girl at the front desk asked if the gray haired tall lady was the reason we were leaving, we said yes. She did not seem surprised and so I don’t imagine we are the only people this lady feels the need to abuse. Every thing else was great. If she was not employed there this place would have received a five star review. She is tainting the place by treating its guests with zero respect and making them feel less than. Shame on her. This is not how people should act in the hospitality business. Wait to stay here until this woman is no longer employed.

Overall, a decent stay. The Microtel was nice, the room was clean, and having a hot tub in the room was nice. Location was close to everything. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Just had a rude conversation with the evening shift front desk lady when checking in but besides that it was a decent stay. Everything was clean and Hot Tub and Pool were clean.

We had a fine stay at this hotel. This was not far from the shops and food, but 15 min away from the airport. The room was clean, but had a weird mirror instead of paint on the wall. Overall it was a good experience. The breakfast area had a lot of options and the coffee was good. Staff was kind and helpful. I would stay here again!

I can't rate this hotel(?) as far as its quality since we booked it in January 2025 on Expedia and cancelled the booking with Expedia and the Hotel directly in August 2025 for a late September stay. The Hotel would not refund the money. We had to make numerous calls to the Hotel(?) and Expedia and finally the Hotel(?) refused to refund the money. Expedia stepped up and refunded the money. Very disappointed with the Microtel Inn and Suites customer service. Hard to reach by phone and VERY uncooperative. Stsy away!

Don't over pay or waste your time at this hotel. Ill never stay at another Microtel ever. Room was way over priced and not the one I reserved. I was greeted very rudely when I asked if I could check in a little early. Was told 3 different times when a room would be ready, and still not ready. Then tried to check in 5 minutes before checking and the manager Afina, also greeted me very rudely. I had a room with 2 queens reserved and when I finally checked in, I received a room with 1 bed. I showed Afina my reservation with 2 queens, but she said there was nothing they could do, and again said it all very rudely and unprofessional. Not sure where they value their customers, but I was nowhere near a priority after they're mishap. I've never been treated so rudely as a customer! Save your money and time, and stay elsewhere. But whatever you do,do not attempt to check in 1 minute early! Never again!

Beautifully maintained hotel! Everything was clean and quite. The gentleman at the front desk, Saj, was fantastic.. friendly, polite, and very helpful! The pool was cold and hot tub has a nice water feature. Room was clean and updated. If your needing a room in Bozeman I recommend this hotel. 5 stars across the board.

I typically don't leave reviews, but after the experience we had at this hotel, I feel compelled to share this warning with others. First off, the cleanliness was absolutely disgusting. We found yellow stains on the bed sheets, and blood stains on both the pillows and the side of the bed. We immediately requested fresh linens, but housekeeping only showed up once during the entire week we stayed. This is not acceptable by any standard. The rooms themselves had a foul odor that lingered throughout, making it difficult to sleep or even relax. No amount of air freshener could mask the stench, and it was just part of the larger issue of the hotel’s neglect. What was even more disturbing was the behavior of the front desk staff. On multiple occasions, when we approached them for assistance, we noticed staff members sitting on the first floor with their feet kicked up, watching TV or chatting on the phone, while a sign indicated they were supposedly "doing other tasks." Their lack of professionalism was infuriating. And to top it all off, the hotel lounge carts—which are usually meant for guest convenience—were used by staff to take out trash, only to then put them back out for guests to use. This is both unsanitary and deeply troubling, as it’s clear the hotel doesn't care about basic hygiene or guest safety. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had, and I would highly recommend NOT staying here. It's dirty, poorly managed, and doesn't value its guests. Definitely not worth the price, and I’ll never be coming back.

Very clean, comfortable stay. Spacious room. Right off the highway. Will definitely recommend staying here! The front desk was very accommodating and quick to get me in a room.
