The Homewood Suites by Hilton Bozeman receives generally positive feedback, with standout praise for the staff and comfortable rooms. However, recent reviews highlight significant cleanliness issues, particularly concerning mold and dirty surfaces, alongside concerns about inconsistent service and kitchen maintenance. While some guests appreciate the location and breakfast, others find the property dated and noisy due to its proximity to the interstate.
Unfortunate. Stopped for the night of 19 May 2026. Location was mostly convenient but the intersection at Baxter and 7th (business 90) is a bit squirrelly. Checking in was easy even without a reservation. The cleanliness of the room is my issue. Pictures are attached. In them you will see: 1. Black spots above the shower that, to me, looked like black mold but I have no idea what it actually is and I didn’t waste time trying to determine. It looked bad, so it IS bad. 2. A filthy door track into the closet. 3. A red residue in the refrigerator. 4. Obvious dust on top of the refrigerator.
Staff was great, however they didn't service our room one night. One morning we went to breakfast 45 minutes before they stopped. No pancake mix, no yogurt, no eggs, no oatmeal, no orange juice. No excuse!
Alex was a very welcoming front desk associate. Very knowledgeable in the area and made recommendations for food and entertainment. The breakfast was one of the best complementary breakfasts we have experienced. Room was clean and comfortable as well. Highly recommend when staying in Bozeman.
Stayed here recently during a long road trip with 2 dogs and I wish I had caught the names of the nighttime and morning front desk agents - they were so unbelievably kind and courteous - especially with a couple dogs that had been in a car for 10 hours. Rooms are a bit older, but ours was clean and warm! Great place for an overnight stay and would stay for a longer duration based on the staff and how dog-friendly they are! We’ll be back!
Room: Two room suite - king bed in separate room, queen sofa sleeper. The mattress for the sofa sleeper was thin, stained, and uncomfortable (I could feel all the springs along my body). We needed to use both beds for our family, otherwise I wouldn’t usually bother with a sofa sleeper! Kitchen was okay - generally clean except for several eating utensils that the dishwasher didn’t get clean but housekeeping put away anyways. Fridge makes a ton of noise when it’s working to cool down. Bathroom was clean but ?extra towels were just shoved into a cupboard. Service: Super friendly front desk staff. Location: Convenient right off the interstate but not super close to dining options except for fast food-type places.
Love these rooms. One night or several, they are nice to be able to spread out. Hilton has upgraded my room several times on our long vacation. They are my first location to search for overnight accommodation.
The rooms were immaculate with the star of the show being the friendly and helpful staff. We had a few birthdays and they shared their tape and helped make the stay feel so comfortable. The breakfast was also great as well!
A great place to stay, a bit farther away from downtown and cheaper because of it. Very big and comfortable rooms that were cleaned well. Decent breakfast with some fruit and the over night oats. The only negative is the proximity to the freeway, I would recommend choosing rooms that are not next to the freeway to reduce ambient noise. Other than this, a perfect stay and relatively quiet!
I booked a room here because of the good reviews but the room I received was not in great condition. The trash can in the kitchen was completely full and hadn't been emptied by housekeeping, there was silverware sitting in the insinkerator, mold in the bathroom, conditioner wasn't refilled and ran out after two pumps, and the furniture looked very beaten up. Some other strange details - the lamps in my room were a mixture of cool temp light and warm temp light, the QR code website that is stickered around the room that's supposed to share hotel details hasn't been filled out with information, and the body wash in the bathroom was mounted at some point (can see glue residue on the wall) but now the body wash sits on the tub instead. I've never thought too much about most of these things until now after seeing the lack of attention to detail. The combination of everything made the room feel "icky" as another reviewer put it. The receptionist was very nice and helpful when I checked in though. Jenna from Guest Services who texted to check in with my stay was helpful as well. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The lobby is beautiful. Would not recommend based on my stay but maybe it's the two bedroom suites that are in bad shape? Or maybe it's just room 451. I'm unsure but I am disappointed after seeing all the good reviews.
This has to be my favorite HS I’ve ever stayed in. Everything from the lodge like feel, the spacious, clean rooms, the outstanding breakfast to the over the top wonderful customer service from the front desk was top notch. Would highly recommend staying here is you prefer a great hotel experience. The sweet, funny gal at the front desk even gave us recommendations for things to in Big Sky- our final destination.
