The Residence Inn Bozeman Downtown offers a convenient and comfortable stay in Bozeman, particularly appealing to travelers attending events at MSU or exploring nearby Yellowstone and Big Sky. While many guests praise its location, spacious rooms, and friendly staff, some have reported issues with TV functionality, parking costs, and inconsistent service quality.
Nice hotel, nice rooms, and staff has been nice so far. However, this is the second Marriott we’ve stayed at where the TV stops working at night. Literally the TV was working until 5:30 pm, and at 8:30 pm? Nothing. We called the front desk however maintenance cannot service the TV until morning. Honestly, I think Marriott is being cheap and intentionally turned the TV off while we were out for dinner. Also, charging $25 a day for parking in the middle of Bozeman? This isn’t a major city. Also, cheap by Marriott.
This hotel is exactly what i was hoping it would be ! Excellent service, big family rooms and a perfect location just a few blocks from all the bars and restaurants on Main Street. It is a newer property that has a great well priced bar in the lobby with sports showing on the screen. Would defo stay again next time we visit Bozeman !
Allanah picked out the most beautiful room. She was so kind and amazing. Brock checked me in and was absolutely lovely. Easy parking and an excellent respite.
Stayed 7 days for family visit. Room was not given room service until final day, until then, no fresh towels were supplied to the room. Room service did not make the beds and left a window open. (in winter.) Body wash bottle was empty from the start and not refilled. Overall I wouldn't say It's a *bad* hotel, just..Mediocre. Okayish.
Unfortunately this franchised location is not up to par for a Marriott property. Room was good, food mediocre and service was terrible over two different shifts. I wouldn’t stay here again, especially with SO many other options in Bozeman.
Perfect place for graduation or other MSU events! (Ubers can go around the hospital and avoid the slower traffic spots). Larger suite was ideal for our larger group. Staff was friendly and the lounge area was clean, ample and open! There are great places by the freeway, but this saved us travel time and traffic!
Used this hotel while staying in Bozeman for customer meetings in the area as well as up in Big Sky/YC. I typically stay in either Marriott or Hilton so this checked that box. Plus, the location is closer to downtown by walking. And, I love to run in the early morning and prefer to do it on actual streets and explore so it’s a nice location to dive right into the action. Gym is fairly decent, too. Not like you’re going to put in major work in there but there is a pulley machine and dumbbells where it can hold you over for a few days. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Water temperature great for showers. Beds decent. I’d definitely stay here again when out this way.
Great hotel that's very walkable for food and fun. Our room was clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Nice spacious modern clean rooms and perfect location. However, given the Marriott name and price this hotel fell below my expectations. - no shower in pool and whirlpool area. This is unsanitary as patrons cannot wash before entering the pool and whirlpool. - open garbage area directly next to coffee area to encourage patrons to clear their own tables. Very unbecoming of the Marriott name - scrambled eggs are consistently overcooked and hard. Kitchen staff need training on this
Residence Inn of Bozeman is a very nice hotel to stay in while I’m business or traveling to Yellowstone or even big sky ski resort. It’s a great location and you can walk to downtown Bozeman very easily. We enjoyed it a lot.
