Located in the heart of Bozeman, the Best Western Plus GranTree Inn offers a comfortable and convenient stay for both business and leisure travelers. Guests enjoy well-appointed rooms, modern amenities, and easy access to downtown, Montana State University, and Yellowstone National Park.
The Best Western Plus GranTree Inn receives mixed reviews, with recent positive feedback highlighting its location, restaurant, and clean rooms. However, recurring concerns center around inconsistent service, particularly concerning breakfast costs and laundry mishaps, as well as unprofessional staff interactions. Overall, the property seems to offer convenience and a comfortable stay, but reliability and value are questionable.
Very nice hotel. Right in the middle of town, great bar/restaurant, indoor pool, etc. Awesome staff too.
Amazing reception by talented staff who are so helpful and charming Nice breakfast restaurant Outdated rooms Indoor swimming pool They are refreshing and updating there rooms
The gas station at Bozeman best Western grantree charged me 2.00 for. Coffee that cost a dollar yesterday. She didn't give me a penney back she put in the change jar. This woman also has her crap hands on my cups lip and I asked her doesn't she get trained about sanitation. She said NO. I won't go back
A valuable garment — a white abaya and scarf set — was submitted to the hotel’s laundry service and was mishandled at multiple levels. It was delivered to the wrong room, remained missing for an extended period, and was only returned to me minutes before an international flight — visibly stained and damaged beyond wear. I had no time to resolve the issue in person, as my departure was already underway when the item was handed to me by another crew member, who had received it mistakenly. What followed was equally disappointing: My follow-up inquiries were delayed or ignored, Staff avoided calls when I attempted to track down the item, Management delayed addressing the issue until the last possible moment, And ultimately, the hotel refused to take responsibility for the damage caused. The garment had remained in the hotel’s care for the duration of this process, and yet both the hotel and the cleaning service now deny liability — citing uncertainty about "what may have happened after it left their hands" despite the fact that it had already been delivered to the wrong guest due to internal error. So unacceptable and unprofessional....
I had been going to the Grantree for years and I have had great experiences with the bar and restaurant. But today I was treated with extreme rudeness by the hotel manager, a younger woman who found me sitting at one of the hotel chairs and to whom I explained I had been watching games at the bar for a few hours. She called me a “loiterer” and told me I “don’t belong” despite my explanation that I was taking a break from the restaurant to catch the score on a tv that had a game I was interested in. Very unprofessional and needlessly disrespectful work by her. She handled it poorly
I would highly recommend staying here. The rooms were clean, the service at the front desk is great and their restaurant is actually phenomenal. We came from another hotel in town which it the same price and terrible quality (the La Quinta) where we actually had to leave. And the Best Western got us in the same night! Thank you!
Read and Beware!~Best Western's are known to be all encompassing meaning the rooms are clean and comfortable and you are also provided with a Complimentary Breakfast. But THIS Greedy (VERY Greedy) Best Western Location makes you have to BUY your breakfast at a big retail cost! Yes! It's the very first Best Western (and we are loyalists to Best Western) that does NOT provide you with this aminity and yet they "imply" that they have "Breakfast" for you on the internet, great, they are known for that! But oh NOOOOOooooo you are denied breakfast here UNLESS you go into their small restaurant and Pay. And it's NOT CHEAP~!! So I vote look elsewhere for that package because we found out the hard way (after we paid for our expensive stay) that there is NO Complimentary BREAKFAST in the mornings, at THIS Best Western. Won't be staying here again...EVER. What's "implied" on the internet (Breakfast) is SOLD to you extra ($$$) it is NOT a part of your stay. 1 star overall for that !!!
I’ve been staying at the Best Western Plus in Bozeman for over a year on business trips, and they never disappoint! From the moment you check in, the front desk staff is warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything you need. The Club restaurant on-site is fantastic — the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and a perfect end to a busy workday. The fitness center is a standout feature — always clean, well-maintained, and stocked with a wide variety of equipment to fit any workout style. The rooms are spotless every time, with a generous supply of towels and thoughtful amenities that make each stay comfortable and hassle-free. It’s rare to find a hotel that delivers consistent excellence across all areas, but this location does exactly that. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, you can expect a great experience every time. Highly recommended!
Located right off of the highway so getting there, generally, is easy. The parking lot is a little confusing. About 40 minutes from Lava Lake trail. The staff is pretty accommodating. The rooms are clean and convenient to go to/from to get to your car or anywhere within the hotel. Everything was in working order and looked nice. The pool was kept up and the hotel tub can comfortably accommodate 6-8 people. I was referred here and am happy with my experience. We had breakfast here. I recommend the biscuits and gravy. It is a huge serving and I couldn't touch the 2nd biscuit. There was still plenty of gravy left for that 2nd biscuit.
Pretty solid best western. Breakfast isn't free and some of the rooms look into the inner courtyard area pool area which is quite odd. Totally unremarkable and fine, but a bit overpriced for what we received.
