La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bozeman receives mixed reviews, with many guests praising its convenient location and cleanliness, but also citing issues with inconsistent service, outdated facilities, and billing discrepancies. Recent feedback highlights challenges with breakfast quality, hot tub functionality, and staff responsiveness.
Rooms and staff were terrific. Only thing wrong was the hot tub was not hot, dealbreaker for grandkids. Reason for a 4 not 5. Breakfast was very good and nice and warm. Place is super clean, nice job housekeeping.
Hey we had a wonderful stay here, I know asked to check out at twelve today but I can pay a ten dollar tip if we can check out at one today. I apologize for asking but see we live in BozemanMt have been since 2013 ani love it here, anywho we were wondering if we could an can check out at one o clock today. That is when they will be done spraying our apt. They an the last to big building witch our unit is on the third floor but yea this is why I asked I leave a ten dollar tip if that helps. Pls an thank you.
I was booking directly on their website and decided to give them a call to verify the availability in the fact that they accept pets. They said because I was booking with the Pet. I could not book on the website. Which is fine. However, the room that I was booking on the website was only going to cost me $88 with taxes and fees included. When I went to book with them directly on the phone, they wanted to charge me $135 even though their pet fee is only $25. I’m glad that I called because if I had booked online, they told me that they would not have refunded me the room. Make sure you call before you book with these guys.
Was traveling through Bozeman and decided to get a room. Was a nice place. It has a pool and hot tub. The exercise room is down in the basement. Really nice place to chill and lay my head down for the night. They have breakfast too, and a little Mart incase you want something while you are at the hotel. Emma working the front desk was really nice and helpful.
The rooms were clean and decent for the price which is all we needed. The breakfast was lackluster. The eggs were very watery, the juice was rancid, and when we went to check back a second time they had run out of food for the morning around 8 am. Everything else was fine. It's located right off the interstate exit so it's easy to get to. We did not try the pool or gym due to time constraints, but we looked at them and both were small in size. The halls of this establishment are like a maze. The lighting in the hotel bathroom is adjustable but very low even on the highest setting.
Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. However the beds are hard as a rock. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6 am but didn’t have anything out until 6:40. And what was put out was eggs and potatoes. No milk for the cereal, all of the juices were extremely watered down. The one morning staff member couldn’t be bothered and was sitting on his phone while the potatoes were getting overcooked because he didn’t pay attention to the timer. Very disappointed, not worth the money.

Where to start? We had such a GREAT stay. Everyone we encountered was so courteous and friendly. The room (and lobby) were impeccably clean...not one stray hair or dust bunny to be found. The room was also extremely quiet. Conveniently located. Breakfast was great. Would stay again!
The only reason they got 1 star is because I can’t leave 0 stars. The management couldn’t possibly be worse. We booked a hotel for one night for $280/night. We then decided to stay another night and when we called, the receptionist said it would only be $341 for 2 nights and recommended that we cancel the first reservation to save money, so we did that. She seemed confused so when we arrived we had her run the card then for $341, had her sign that the $341 was for 2 nights. We ran a Spartan race the next day and when we got back our door was locked and they said we needed to leave because we didn’t pay for a second night. They called the police, we explained the situation for the police who said we were in the right, and said they were so sorry that we had to deal with that, and we should call corporate, which we will. Wait…it gets better. We had the manager drive over (he was wearing flip flops, shorts and a Barbie shirt) who after we explained everything wouldn’t make it right. The receptionist started lying about what she said even though we we had the record of what she said and her signature, and the manager wasn't concerned about that. I simplified for him stating that we should either be able to stay the night or we would leave and have him refund the difference to our original reservation. He wouldn’t budge or honor the reservation that the lying receptionist made. Trust me, I’ve summarized the lack of professionalism and dishonesty. How can a company make a reservation and change it after you moved into the room?! What kind of manager doesn’t honor the staff screw up when we have proof?! The manager ended up saying that that they have to deal with situations like this every week. Read the other reviews…it’s not just us. Amazing...as a follow up to my review...I put a freeze on my credit card since they were lying to us at the front and we thought they may try to charge us for a second night. We stayed in a different hotel for our second night in Bozeman (have the receipt) and they charged us for the second night before the freeze took hold...even though we didn't stay there. I reported it to my credit card company as fraud, but what a hassle. I'm repeating myself, but the manager said that things like this happen every week, and yet they continue to do this.
I usually don't leave reviews for hotels because in general they have all been pretty great. This one, however, was a terrible experience for me. The concierge was unfriendly and provided no information about the hotel amenities or directions to the elevator/room. Hotel room walls are paper thin and gaps between doors are so wide that you can hear everything and see light shining through at night. The room looked like it wasn't cleaned prior to checking in. Breakfast wasn't ready at 6am as stated on their website and signage in the lobby (it was almost ready around 7am). Their juice dispenser was "out of order", coffee and water were all leftover from the day before. Food was not fresh at all. Hotel staff are either nowhere to be found or not very responsive. I was looking forward to staying here as the reviews were really good, but I left feeling very disappointed. I definitely won't be coming back. Avoid this place if possible!
