The Residence Inn Bozeman generally receives positive feedback, highlighted by staff attentiveness, spacious suites with full kitchens, and convenient amenities like a pool and fitness center. However, recent reviews also indicate issues with reservation management, cleanliness inconsistencies, and a lack of responsiveness to guest requests, particularly regarding room issues and early check-ins.
Only 1 working elevator and it's small and slow, no ice machine. Free buffet breakfast but it was picked over after 3 times trying they had a group of young boys who were running the whole time like elephants through hotel.rooms are decent size full size refrigerator beds were not bad either. Im handicapped and o lt had shower room available no bars in bathroom by toilet or tub, I almost fell 4 times using bathroom thank god were brought my shower chair .staff was nice. Nice patio with fireplace and grills. The view of mountains were breathtaking .this was a handicapped room how I have to clue higher cabinet shelves then normal and shower really see pictures also toilet ran no stop
This Hotel has a GM named Sherrill Morris that has an incredible amount of care and attention towards the hotel and each and everyone one of her guests. Her staff is always striving for excellence and doing what they can to make each person experience exceptional. Donna Lee (front desk), Troy and Ken (maintenance), Holli (front Desk) and Ashliegn (Night Audit) to name each individual that made our stay UNFORGETTABLE! Arriving we were happy to see the location across from major shopping centers and green grassy areas (behind the hotel) where we could enjoy some fresh air without going to far was always kept dog poop free! We were so happy knowing the grounds were clean because there are so many LAZY dog owners in this city that just leave messes everywhere. Parking was never an issue as their parking lot is very large and every kind of vehicle can be accommodated from a small car up to a class C motorhome. Walking into the building it had great lighting, easy access exits all the way around, and a full breakfast bar with a large dining area. The Breakfast bar experience was always welcoming and the variety of items was more than enough to fill our belly's and the food was hot and served in a clean orderly fashion. Did I mention the small gift shop that has a delightful selection of toiletries and goodies as well! Our room was splendid! A one bedroom King Suite with a full living room and a full kitchen and a spacious bathroom attached to the one bedroom. It was more than enough room for our family and everything was accommodated in the kitchen! A complete set of cooking ware, glass wear and silverware. Did I mention a full size fridge that makes the ice for us so we did not have to leave our room! Our room had no residual odors or moisture and we were so cozy in our little home away from home. The Amenities included a computer area with printer, a conference room, coin operated washers and dryers on the 2nd floor and a pool with hot tub and a gym! Fire Pits and Outdoor cooking and a hidden retreat in the center of the building that can only be discovered once you check in! The pool area was spacious and ventilated (lighting was dim) and the Hot tub was nice and hot. They have a nice patio attached to the pool area and we often opened those doors and let in the sun and some fresh air so we felt right at home here as well. The Gym was clean and well ventilated and so many equipment options. The 2nd floor laundry facility was average and the machines got the job done without complaint. The Conference room was always filled while we were there. From Indigenous events by the local University, to wedding receptions and business meeting and I think a few times I seen a group of hunters hanging out going over their gear, guns, ammo and stories. The Fire Pits outside and the BBQ station was also a nice relaxing experience we roasted marshmallows and even cooked up steaks that turned out DELICIOUS. The hidden gem outdoor patio has places to enjoy private moments in front of a fireplace and its just the perfect little retreat on the first floor. As you can tell by my testimony this place is covered all our bases and our stay experience was enjoyable and memorable. The Price was just right and fair within the normal occupancy rates you would expect from Bozeman. The staff was professional, human, kind and genuine. Great Job Sherrill Morris and Team!
Suite with full size fridge, cooktop and microwave. Spacious rooms and nice gym. Close proximity to Costco so that’s wonderful as well.
Couldn't get checked in early even though request was made through mobile app an hour in advance like it stated. Rooms were spacious but a lot of light under and around the door making it hard to sleep and thermostat is the type that won't allow you to run all night but switches to auto and our family likes it nice and cold to sleep better. No ice machine on floors, just in rooms which took about an hour to make any ice, pool is small but looked nice. Weight room was decent and actually had more than one treadmill so that was a plus.
Subject: Resident Inn – Where Legends Stay The cookie girl makes the best cookies I’ve had. Ps awesome Lilly is the best From the moment I walked through the doors of Resident Inn, I knew I wasn’t just checking into a hotel — I was stepping into an experience. The staff? Absolute pros. They didn’t just greet me, they welcomed me like family. Every detail — from the spotless rooms to the amenities that actually WORK the way they should — screamed “we take pride in this place.” The atmosphere is the perfect mix of comfort and class, and the team clearly runs on the kind of energy that makes guests feel like rockstars. You don’t just stay here. You level up here. If hospitality had a championship belt, Resident Inn would be wearing it. I’ll be back. Again. And again. — A seriously satisfied guest.
I booked a room for my husband and me a week in advance for a one-night stay. Payment was taken at the time of booking, and everything appeared confirmed. However, on the day of our stay, I went to check the check-in time and found that our reservation had been canceled without notice. When I called to find out what happened, I was told the rate had changed and the room was now being offered at nearly double the original price. It became clear that they had canceled our confirmed, prepaid reservation in order to re-list the room at a higher rate. This is not only incredibly unprofessional, it feels deliberately deceptive. Avoid booking here if you want peace of mind that your reservation will actually be honored.
Ok, are you ready for this? We had a reservation for 8 people and over the course of our 5 day trip, this is what we experienced. - to start off, they messed up our reservation so we spent the entire trip on separate sides of the building. This was only after we spent 2 hours in the hallway waiting for a room with a fussy infant. - in one room, we were greeted by a 14 inch black hair that was laying on the bed. The room had no body wash, 2 tissues in the tissue box, and a micro trash can for 6 people to share. - in the second room, we were greeted by a putrid smell that reminded of us rotting flesh mixed with moldy broccoli. We tried to ignore it but couldn’t take it any longer so we told them about the issue. Instead of apologizing and moving us to a different room, they sprayed fabreeze and the smell was back within two hours. On day two and day three the smell developed to a fishy scent. It was everywhere and we couldn’t escape it. Oh, and no shampoo in this room. - during our week long stay, each time we asked for additional items such as towels, blankets, etc. they never brought it up to us but told us we could come get it from them because they didn’t have the staff to handle it. At one point, we were told they would bring it up and 2 hours later we gave up and went and got it ourselves again. - when we poured ourselves water from the “hot water” station next to the coffee, it came out brown. - we requested room service that was never provided. - the pack and play we were given was broken. Just an overall disappointing experience for what you pay. Hard to call it hospitality. Hair in your bed? Thats what I would expect from motel 6, not Marriott. We frequent Marriott’s every time we travel and this was very disappointing and well below their standard. In fairness, it wasn’t all negative. There were helpful employees, yummy breakfasts, and kind gestures throughout the trip.
One of my more favorite Marriott I've been too. First thing that sticks out is the cookies that were set out for guests in the evening. Made my day. The gym was being worked on, but still open. Pool was clean. Breakfast was a little light but still good. The rooms were big and didn't feel crowded. Everything was very clean and organized.
Stayed there a few weeks ago. Nice hotel. Clean, but service was best part. Michael F. shuttled us all over, even had us call him when we needed a ride. Incredible. Great location close to airport. The only place I would stay if I returned.
This place was great. New rooms. We got a suite with a king. Our daughter slept in the living area. We had a door so she didn’t have to hear me snore. Everyone was happy. Very clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I would come back here again.
