The Super 8 by Wyndham Bozeman offers a budget-friendly option with generally positive reviews, particularly praising cleanliness and value. However, concerns around inconsistent staff behavior, noise levels, and property maintenance have been raised. Recent stays have highlighted improvements in service and breakfast quality.

My bus driver passed my stop and this was where he stopped next. I desperately had to pee. To the point of pain and I was in tears. I ran in, begging the front desk employee to use any bathroom as it was an extreme emergency. He told me no at first.. which I totally understand but I started pleading with him, telling him I was about to pee my pants (as a 30 year old woman this is extremely embarrassing to admit to a grown man). He stares at my pants, throws his hands up and accuses me of threatening him. I again explain that this is an extreme emergency and I am not threatening him. Holding myself, crossing my legs, pleading in desperation, embarrassed beyond belief, he finally demands I walk down the stairs so he can open the door. He finally let me use the bathroom only so I wouldn’t soak his lobby floor. I told him through tears that I was sorry and not trying to be rude. Look…. I get it. There wasn’t a public restroom and no, I don’t think I am entitled to use any bathroom I please at any given time.. but I came in having an emergency and to be accused of threatening someone (with peeing my own pants?) when I’m already incredibly vulnerable and embarrassed.. I couldn’t be more humiliated. Maybe practice some empathy for someone clearly in excruciating pain and unbearable discomfort. I’ll never stay at a super 8 again ?????

Super clean - large rooms. We flew here from Florida. Very inexpensive. The Super 8 is better that the Motel 6 across the street. I've stayed in both. I have the money to stay in expensive hotels in Bozeman, as I have before, but why when this Super 8 is perfect. I will keep staying here each time I come to Bozeman.

Miranda at the front desk was VERY rude. She yelled at me and my family while we were trying to have a good time in the lobby/breakfast room. We politely told her not to yell at us for laughing and she proceeded very rudly to tell us to go our room. Worst experience I've had The other workers were fine though, very polite and helpful.

Honestly the staff was very friendly, my intention was to stay here two nights and the second night I would have been recovering from a surgery… it was not clean enough for that to even fathom… granted it’s a super 8 but the freaking toilet almost over flowed… there was a hair in the bed when we got there, the room had chipped paint all over it, painted over some of the spots with a random different brown, and then there was weird…stuff on the ceiling, Half the plug ins didn’t work, the shower grip stuff on the bottom of the tub was peeling up and was black….we stayed that night, We got there at 9pm and left by 6:30am the next day and stayed at the mountain lodge hotel suites . It was $50 more but worth every penny. Needless to say I was disappointed.

Rooms are clean. Breakfast was great, there is decent variety of food from eggs with biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cereal, yogurt and some strong hot coffee. Well done. One minor recommendation, a guide for the TV. The online guide is OK, but you have to keep going back to it to find one of the many channels offered. I highly recommend if you stay the night in Bozeman, stay at the Super 8. PS: If you stay more than a night, washer and dryers are available.

I stayed in a nonsmoking queen bedroom for 3 nights in late October 2025. My room was on the third floor, and the hotel was quite quiet in general, even though you could hear water flowing and TV sounds from other rooms when you walked past them. It's good that the other guests were respectful and generally kept to themselves. Inside the room, you'll find the standard amenities: a TV, a microwave, a minifridge, a coffeemaker, a closet, and even a safe! For the bathroom, I'm pleasantly surprised that there is a bathtub instead of a walk-in shower. If I had known this before my visit, I would have brought some bath bombs with me and taken a nice bath. There isn't really much of a view from outside the window, but the hotel isn't located in a scenic area. However, it is in a convenient location, with the highway ramp right next to the hotel. If you have a car with you, you'll enjoy the free parking. If you don't have a car like me, you can walk to the closest bus stop to take the free Streamline bus. The blue line takes you to downtown Bozeman, which runs during weekdays and weekends. The pink line takes you to downtown Belgrade, and there is a stop that is somewhat close to the airport, but it doesn't run on weekends. The bus stop is right at Walmart, which is about a 15-minute walk. It’s a decent walk, even in the snow, as I experienced on one day. The hotel sells snacks, instant ramen, and soft drinks, but given how close Walmart is, there is really no reason to patronize the overpriced snack bar unless you're hungry at midnight. In terms of restaurants, there is a Mexican restaurant and a McDonald's right beside the hotel. The hotel website cryptically mentions the provision of "free breakfast item," but what it really means is a standard hotel breakfast buffet, including biscuits with gravy, fried eggs, sausages, toast, pancakes, coffee, and the like. I enjoyed the breakfast, and I see other guests enjoying it too. I've seen other guests use the washer and dryer located on the first floor of the hotel, but I didn't use them. If I had to nitpick, the bathroom faucet is leaky, and one sleepless night, the dripping sound kept me awake. That is offset by the always-on ventilation fan in the bathroom, which I find to be a neat feature as it makes sure the bedroom is never moist. Overall, I think this offers great value for money, and I would recommend it if you're visiting Bozeman.

Back in mid to late May 2025, my mom and I stayed at this Super8 in Bozeman, Montana. Overall, the price was good, everything in the room was fine, and service was great. The person that checked us in was really nice and a pleasure to be with. =) The only problem was that on the 3Rd floor ( which is the floor where our room was ) , there were a group of latino men always talking way too loudly to eachother in the hallways and always slamming and shutting doors too roughly. This kept happening every evening to the early hours of the morning and we could never get good sleep during our entire stay there. Their rooms were right near ours. Never reported it due to us feeling threatened as women. 3 Out of 5 rating.

First impression wasn't great. The front desk clerk was nice enough, and gave us instructions on where to park so we'd closer to our room. However, once in the back parking lot, we saw someone working on a broken down old RV, 2 women just sitting in their car, broken glass in the parking lot and a small group of men hanging around a truck talking. We felt a bit uncomfortable, but unloaded our things and went to our room. It was just OK. The breakfast area is very small but we prefer going elsewhere, so can't comment on the quality of food. The hotel is outdated (most budget hotels are these days) and the price is average. I don't like giving negative reviews, but the parking lot situation made it so I wouldn't stay there again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and the experience was made even better thanks to the exceptional service from Iris. Upon arrival, my first room was a bit damp and musty, but Iris immediately handled the situation with professionalism and warmth. She offered an upgrade without hesitation, and the new room was perfect—clean, comfortable, and exactly what I was hoping for. The rest of my stay was just as pleasant. The staff were attentive, the amenities were well maintained, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus—especially the pancake-making machine, which made my morning that much better! The hotels location close to shopping, restaurants, and the interstate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Bozeman, MT.

We had a great stay at the Super 8 hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent—especially thanks to the receptionist named Iris. She was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She really made a difference in our overall experience. The room was super clean and very comfortable, exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. Everything felt well-maintained. We stayed in room 220 and the bed/pillows were really comfy. We recommend and would for sure stay here again.
