The Super 8 by Wyndham Bozeman offers a budget-friendly option for travelers, with mixed reviews regarding cleanliness and comfort. While some guests appreciate the convenient location, included breakfast, and value, others have raised concerns about maintenance, noise levels, and staff interactions. Recent feedback suggests improvements are needed in certain areas to fully meet guest expectations.
Clean rooms, poor breakfast options. Booked 2 king bed rooms online, but when got to the hotel they had one king available and double queen rooms. Took a while to check in. Otherwise not awful.
I’m not giving them 5 stars simply because I didn't feel safe spending the first night there with my wife. I reported to the front desk that there was a homeless person sleeping at the stairwell exit on the 3rd floor—and my room, #337, was right nearby. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and attentive; a special mention goes to Luke, who was very kind and cordial—I even joked with him about his name being "from another galaxy."
Beds and linens were clean, carpets and floors are dirty. Bathroom needed cleaning. Plenty of paint touchups needed throughout. Looks like the hallway receive new carpet. Water pressure for showers is insanely good.
We are a large family and the price was perfect for our stay. The room was spacious, clean, well furnished, and very comfy beds. Breakfast was more than we expected, very good and lots of options. It was a perfect stay and we will return next time we visit our son at college!
The room was clean. Had issues with the tv working and there was no hot water in the a.m. to shower before checkout. Grateful they are pet friendly but the pet fee was more than a third of the price of the room if you're honest about whether or not it's a service animal.
My bus driver passed my stop and this was where he stopped next. I desperately had to pee. To the point of pain and I was in tears. I ran in, begging the front desk employee to use any bathroom as it was an extreme emergency. He told me no at first.. which I totally understand but I started pleading with him, telling him I was about to pee my pants (as a 30 year old woman this is extremely embarrassing to admit to a grown man). He stares at my pants, throws his hands up and accuses me of threatening him. I again explain that this is an extreme emergency and I am not threatening him. Holding myself, crossing my legs, pleading in desperation, embarrassed beyond belief, he finally demands I walk down the stairs so he can open the door. He finally let me use the bathroom only so I wouldn’t soak his lobby floor. I told him through tears that I was sorry and not trying to be rude. Look…. I get it. There wasn’t a public restroom and no, I don’t think I am entitled to use any bathroom I please at any given time.. but I came in having an emergency and to be accused of threatening someone (with peeing my own pants?) when I’m already incredibly vulnerable and embarrassed.. I couldn’t be more humiliated. Maybe practice some empathy for someone clearly in excruciating pain and unbearable discomfort. I’ll never stay at a super 8 again ?????
Super clean - large rooms. We flew here from Florida. Very inexpensive. The Super 8 is better that the Motel 6 across the street. I've stayed in both. I have the money to stay in expensive hotels in Bozeman, as I have before, but why when this Super 8 is perfect. I will keep staying here each time I come to Bozeman.
Miranda at the front desk was VERY rude. She yelled at me and my family while we were trying to have a good time in the lobby/breakfast room. We politely told her not to yell at us for laughing and she proceeded very rudly to tell us to go our room. Worst experience I've had The other workers were fine though, very polite and helpful.
Honestly the staff was very friendly, my intention was to stay here two nights and the second night I would have been recovering from a surgery… it was not clean enough for that to even fathom… granted it’s a super 8 but the freaking toilet almost over flowed… there was a hair in the bed when we got there, the room had chipped paint all over it, painted over some of the spots with a random different brown, and then there was weird…stuff on the ceiling, Half the plug ins didn’t work, the shower grip stuff on the bottom of the tub was peeling up and was black….we stayed that night, We got there at 9pm and left by 6:30am the next day and stayed at the mountain lodge hotel suites . It was $50 more but worth every penny. Needless to say I was disappointed.
Rooms are clean. Breakfast was great, there is decent variety of food from eggs with biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cereal, yogurt and some strong hot coffee. Well done. One minor recommendation, a guide for the TV. The online guide is OK, but you have to keep going back to it to find one of the many channels offered. I highly recommend if you stay the night in Bozeman, stay at the Super 8. PS: If you stay more than a night, washer and dryers are available.
