The Bozeman Inn receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its affordable rates, convenient location, and cleanliness, while others report issues with staff behavior, lingering odors, and reservation complications. Recent concerns center around potential overcharging and inconsistent room quality.
I was charged a 150 dollar smoking fee when I don't smoke cigarettes at all and I don't smoke weed inside. There is seriously two pots shops next door to the hotel. They said the room smelled like marijuana. Again I did not smoke inside. I don't because I don't want to pay the extra fee. They would not watch cameras to verify that I was outside on steps away from the building. The staff was rude when checking in so I should have expected this. My friend and I are heavily tattooed and have multiple piercings. I also have pink and purple dreads. As soon as the guy walked into the office and saw us standing there he gave us a sour look. He also made certain we understood the no smoking policy. Which we did understand and also why we did not smoke in the room. I will be fighting this charge with my bank as this is theift and they don't want or will not look into anything to prove I didnt smoke in the room or give me proof that we did. They just said it smells like marijuana.
As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, after an amazing couple days in Yellowstone it was time to move on with a night in Bozeman. This place was roomy tv worked and fridge. Good place for a quick stay.
Outdated is correct. The woman at the front desk was rude and name called. Housekeeping tried to force their way in to the room at 9:00 in the morning while we were not dressed. Check out is at 11:00 am. We will never go back.
I love this places commitment to keeping things inexpensive while making sure everything is clean and service is actively available. The amenities are few, but everything you need for a stay is there. The bathtub was very nice, and the bed was great. Plenty of places to sit and lots of room! They even had WiFi and a TV with a guide with lots of options. My only gripe was that the bathroom door is hard to open and close and you had to close it to use the restroom comfortably.
Got a good deal for a 1-night stay for an early morning flight out of Bozeman. A bit old and simple lodgings for affordable prices, no breakfast.
Decent little place, clean with no bugs or roaches. However, my room did have a lingering smokey smell, could be bad for someone with Asthma.
For a 2-star rating, it was quite decent! The location was within walking distance from many businesses and restaurants. It's far enough away from the street that you don't hear the constant traffic. The rooms are clean enough. The queen bed was comfortable with new pillows and bedding. The soft fuzzy blanket was awesome! The only thing keeping this review from being a full 5 stars is that the room - particularly the floor - smelled of urine. Whether you're sitting at the table or laying on the bed, it's inescapable. Fix that, and it's a full 5 stars. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.
I made the reservation through Expidia, for the second week of August. I received the first email confirming the reservation. Later, I received another email (image attached) informing me that my reservation had been canceled, so I had to look for another hotel. When I checked my account, I noticed that although they canceled my reservation and sent me an email about said cancellation, they still charged me without having used the service. Additionally, I contacted the hotel today and a woman who claims to be the manager told me that they would not refund my money and threw her phone at me. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE, IT IS CLEAR THAT IT IS A METHODS OF THEFT. They never sent me an email indicating that I had an active reservation.
Overall good place to stay for the area. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, and for the area the price was fair. Air conditioning worked great and the water was hot! Would definitely recommend!
This was a nice and clean room. The beds were comfy too. They didn't try to take your life savings for staying 1 night either?
