This was a very cute and well decorated little motel. It had a bed and breakfast type feel as it is small with no elevators. I did not feel it was worth the price of the stay as everything was an added price. Specifically, a pot of coffee in the lobby would be a nice touch, extra pillows or blanket (we were told there were none available) and a mini fridge in the room (these are available upon request and take a while to cool down once delivered) would also be nice. It felt like they were still trying to figure out how to run the place.

Nice clean room; decent mattress. Walls are very thin. We could hear folks talking, walking and moving around outside our room and above us. Appreciated the free coffee. Good value for the price.

Rooms did not have a fridge or microwave. The A/C unit had a note on it to only turn it down to a certain temperature; it would be better to just fix or replace the unit than ask a paying customer to limit the use of an amenity. We sat out by the firepit with no fire burning, but the front desk worker in plain sight did not take the initiative address it. So in general, several basic amenities missing or not kept up. With that, the location is nice on the edge of town with less commotion, but still within walking distance of downtown. The condition of everything else in the building and guest room was excellent.

The owners did such an amazing job of designing and creating the Wandering Buffalo! The rooms are so comfortable and inviting. The lobby is absolutely beautiful! The fire pit outside is a great place to hang out on a nice evening. The perfect alternative to the boring chain hotels! Easy access to downtown and very quiet.

We enjoyed our short stay here. Be advised, there are 3 floors and no elevators. So please be aware of that if you cannot do stairs. Also, bring ear plugs or a fan because the walls are a bit thin. The room description states the tv is a smart tv. It's not. The service was great! I really felt like the employees cared for us and our stay. When checking in they let us know multiple times, there is no fridge or microwave but if we needed it, they would be more than happy to provide it for us. The water is consistently hot, so showers are clean and great. The $20 parking fee is listed on their website, and I was completely fine paying that price since it is stated on their website. Everything was very clean and the beds are comfortable. I rarely go barefoot in hotels, but the carpets are very clean and soft. (I know that's odd but that is something that screams out to me on cleanliness).

We came to Bozeman to go to the Museum of the Rockies, walk the sculpture park, and eat at Blackbird. The Wandering Buffalo was perfectly located. It has friendly, professional staff and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The Nescafe in the room was nice, but as others have noted, there is no USB port, so bring your own plug. Overall a very nice place to spend the night.

The good: Good location and most staff were great. Recent remodel really transformed the place. The bad: turned down the bed our first night and found blood on sheets and pillows. Staff on duty responded and got clean linens. Next day, toilet leaked. Went to get assistance and there was nobody at the front desk for 30 minutes! Were promised compensation for our inconvenience but can't seem to get anyone from management to respond to emails validating it. The place has great potential but needs to shore up it's management system.

Super cute place. The front desk staff is amazing! Super polite, kind, and truly radiate customer service. The beds are very comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

Very well done renovation that is close to downtown Bozeman. As someone who travels a lot for work, a few things stood out: - Great value for Bozeman. - Cozy lobby and coffee bar for working. Good coffee too. - Very, very comfortable bedding and towels. - Strong water pressure and plenty of hot water - Good parking lot for coming and going (vs waiting on valet) Would stay again!

The hotel is super cute. Love the lobby and coffee bar. Wish the coffee bar opened at 6am instead of 7am. The staff was really great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lack of usb/c outlets was a huge negative. I didn’t have a cube to plug into an outlet. Also the $20 parking fee makes you feel like you’re being nickeled and dimed to death. Just raise the room rate $. There is so much parking and it just feels wrong to charge for it. I’d definitely stay again if I wanted to be close to downtown.
